Transit procedures
T1 – Non-Union Goods
A T1 document is used for non-Union goods (goods originating outside the EU). These goods have not yet been declared for import and may be transported under customs supervision from one customs warehouse to another. This procedure, known as T1 customs transit, allows goods to be moved with suspension of import duties and VAT.
T2 – Union Goods
A T2 document is used as a transit document for shipments within the EU that are destined for, or transported via, one of the EFTA countries (Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Iceland) or the United Kingdom. Although these countries are located in Europe, they are not part of the EU. Without a T2 document, goods would normally face significant delays at the EU border.
Union goods may be transported within the EU using a T2 document, also known as Internal Union Transit. Under this procedure, Union goods can be transported between two locations within the EU customs territory via a country or territory outside the EU without changing their customs status. This saves valuable time by eliminating border waiting times. In addition, no import duties are payable in the EFTA countries. A further advantage is that multiple export shipments can be combined on a single T2 document.

Customs permit
We are very proud to announce that we have been granted the AEO Customs Simplifications (AEO-C) authorisation. The AEO-C status specifically focuses on simplifying customs procedures. Companies holding this certification are recognised by customs authorities as reliable partners and benefit from administrative relief and accelerated procedures. This results in a more efficient flow of goods, lower costs, and fewer delays at the border.
